Time Deposits

To open a deposit account, simply visit any of our branches during regular business hours and have your valid government-issued identification available, as well as your social security number.
 


Certificates of Deposit

  • $500 minimum deposit to open
  • Many terms available
  • Interest may be compounded or transferred to another deposit account at G. W. Jones Exchange Bank
  • Interest may be paid by check if the principal amount of the Certificate of Deposit is $10,000 or more
  • Subject to early withdrawal penalties

Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)

  • Uses a Certificate of Deposit as its savings vehicle
  • Traditional IRAs available
  • Age 59 ½ and over not subject to early withdrawal penalty
